New Studio Security Procedures
The studio will be opened in the morning
by the caretaker
Students should book time in the studio
using the booking sheet. A student can book up to 4 weeks
in advance
Students must request the cabinet to be
opened when they want to use microphones and drums. The equipment
must be returned correctly to the cabinet after use and the
cabinet locked. The cabinet contains 8 XLR cables, 2 guitar
leads, microphones and drum kit parts (the bass drum and cymbal
stands are not stored in the cabinet)
Students can request the cabinet to be opened
by the following tutors each morning:
• Monday – Evin
• Tuesday – Ciara
• Wednesday – Sue
• Thursday – Daie
• Friday – Daire
The studio will be closed by a music tutor
after checking that all equipment is put away and the studio
is left clean and tidy. The following is a list of the tutors
that will close the studio:
• Monday 5pm – Sue
• Tuesday 5pm – Daire
• Wednesday 5pm – Ciara
• Thursday 5pm – Daire
• Friday 2pm – Daire
Attention
No food or drink allowed in the studio
Chairs must be stacked at the end of each
class
All equipment must be returned to its correct
place
No studio equipment must be removed from
the premises
Broken or damaged equipment must be reported
to a tutor immediately
Students are not allowed to take it upon
themselves to rewire the studio in any way (NO special circumstances)
When finished turn off the power to all
equipment
Leave the studio area clean and tidy
